About the East Surrey Organists' Association

The Association was formed in 1932 and consists of around fifty members, who share a mutual interest in the Organ and its music. Most members play the organ, but by no means all, with some holding church appointments.

What we do

During the year we hold a number of meetings which usually consist of visits to organs of interest in Surrey or further afield, when the organ is demonstrated and there is usually an opportunity for members to play.  Our yearly programme often includes visit to a Cathedral or similar establishment, and in the last few years a lunch has been held in the autumn.  Occasional lectures or recitals also feature in the programme.

Anyone interested in the organ and its music and heritage is welcome to join us.

Our visits are posted on the website, and also listed in our monthly newsletter.
